Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs whole wheat or gluten-free
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for baking

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Mix gently until just combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and lightly golden.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the meatballs to cool before serving or transferring to meal prep containers.

Notes

For meal prep, allow the turkey meatballs to cool completely before storing. Keep them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave, oven, or skillet until warmed through. These meatballs pair well with rice, quinoa, roasted vegetables, or salad for easy balanced meals.
